Bee Tea Cup

Recently on a shopping trip
I found this cute tea cup and saucer
I bought this tea cup
 because I like it. . .
It isn't made by a fancy designer
Just a plain old "made in China"
Oh, it isn't vintage, nor is it a collectible.
Just a cute tea cup to add to my collection
I call it the Bee Tea Cup
It has Bees on it and inside the cup.

It is colorful and it reminds me of a
Spring Time Tea Party.
It may not be vintage nor a collectible now
But someday it will be. . .
My Grandmother's Tea Cup wasn't vintage nor collectible
When she bought hers. . .
It is with time and making memories that this
Tea Cup will become
Vintage and Collectible.
Remember NO tea or coffee for me
Hot Chocolate is fine.
I will be linking this to

you are absolutely right. Things don't need to be vintage nor collectibles. A nice design is just wonderful and your cup is really nice designed. A real treasure. Wish you a wonderful week.

  4. You're so right about the tea cup. The memories make it special. My tea cups I love best are the ones that have a story.

  5. I have the same teacup and I love it. Love the bee, the butterflies, the hummingbird, the dainty flowers. It has put a spring in my step and is destined to be a favorite! Happy Tea Day!

  6. I feel the same way! When I buy it, it might be new, but will be antique to my grandchildren!
Your cup is very spinglike and pretty with all those flowers. I have "made in Japan" tea cups that are really lovely too.
Thank you so much for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Terri

  8. That is such a sweet tea cup, Karie! I agree with you about tea cups being antiques someday. I just hope my grandchildren will have an appreciation for them! I only have one little granddaughter who is only five months old right now but who I hope to pass my china on to someday. Thank you for sharing and for joining me for tea. Have a lovely day.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  9. That is so cute! A really adorable cup this is! You are right, for it to become vintage, it must wait a while. Everything we like and is pretty is special anyways. And your grandchildren will one day say the same thing! :)

  13. Hi Karie! I'm looking for a particular bee teacup and I think this might be it. Does it say what company it's from?
