Easter ~ A Glorious Time of The Year

I just love Easter!
So here is a little show of Easter in my Home.
We have a big Easter Picnic planned for later today.
Saturday is the day we play and have our picnic.
Sunday is reserved always for Church
And giving thanks for the glorious
Atonement and Resurrection of
Jesus Christ.
Spring means Easter. . .Little bunnies are suppose to welcome
all the pretty flowers and sunshine and blue skies.
But, I live in Utah and we never know what we might get
for our Easter weather.  Especially when Easter falls in late March.
So. . having said that. . .
We will be having our Easter Saturday Picnic in
SNOW!
Yip, this is what we woke up to this morning.
Snow is beautiful. . . but. . . not at Easter time!
We, will just have to make adjustments to our plans
The main this is that we are together as a family.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter. . .
It really is the most glorious time.

Spring and Easter Greetings

Well Hello my friends.  I don't know if you noticed or not I have been MIA. . . Nothing serious, just life.  Darn it sometimes things get in the way of the things I want to do.  Like tend to my blog.  But, I am still kickin' and ready to show my simple little Spring/Easter front porch.  It really isn't a porch as far as I am concerned, it is more of a "stoup", which I say is "stupidly small."!  Any way I do my best to decorate it.  Because you know I am just a Foo, Foo person.  Ah not to be mistaken by a foolish person! Nope, not me.

Cute bottles spray painted blue.  And NO! I do not drink the
beverage that comes from these bottles.  Nope! Not Me!
but I do like the shape and cuteness of the bottles.
So . . . I have sweet friends who give them to me.
I took these pictures in the late afternoon.
Not very good snaps.  So I fixed them up the best I could
You get the picture. . .Not quite time for my cute little bench
to come out.  It is the bench that makes the porch have cuteness.
It is a beautiful day here in Northern Utah. 70 degrees.
No worries though. . it won't stay this way.
It may feel like Spring has arrived but it is going to change
By Tuesday, we will have snow. .
When you live in Utah you get accustom to the weather changing from
sunny and bright to snow and rain in a matter of minutes.
At least I have the porch all ready for Spring and Easter. It makes me happy and cheerful when I come home and I am greeted by my cheerful Front Porch. I hope you have a wonderful day and you are enjoying sunshine. Actually you can always carry sunshine in your heart.

March ~ Luck of The Irish

Well, hello my friends.  I am happy you stopped by.  I have made some changes in the living room.  It is now March and I just have to decorate for St. Patrick's Day.  It is a tradition and a must.  First of all I descend from Irish ancestors.  And second, and most important, my daughter was born on St. Patrick's Day.  So it has always been tradition for the Green of the Irish comes out for March.  Even when we have Easter in March.  I will make a  quick change of a few things for Easter. . . .(I don't like having Easter in March.)

You will notice that I made some changes in the wall grouping.
Added a few things and re-arranged a few things.  Did you also
notice the blank in the center above the shelf?
Humm! Not sure what I am going to put there.
I am leaning towards a wreath.
We will see what I come up with.

I love my shelf for holiday decorating.
I don't have a mantle, so I pretend this is one.
I like to change the vignettes on it.

Did I tell you I am so ready for spring.
We are having beautiful weather right now.
But, it will change.  I live in Utah and in weather can change
within minute.  Right now I am enjoying the beautiful blue sky
and the bright sunshine.  The temperature is a delightful 67 degrees.
I can live with that.

Well I hope no matter where you are, you are enjoying your season.  I certainly love the changes of seasons.  By the time March comes along, I know that spring is just around the corner.  The fields are turning green, and a few of the little spring flowers are pushing their way up through the soil.  What a delight to watch mother nature make her change.

I am going to share at
