Do you ever have a few

"This and That's"

just hanging around and you 

really don't know what 

to do with them?

I had plans in the beginning to

post about them.

But just never got around to it.

I want to make some simple

Decorating  changes.

Nothing big, just something different

than my ordinary,

In other words 

I Am In A Rut!

So. I went visiting other homes.

Right here in Blogland,

There are a lot of

Talented Homemakers.

The first one I visited I

just happened to come upon.

I was actually looking for

Free Printables.

The Happy Housie

I like the simplicity of the door, wreath and porch

I love the coffee table

Bright open and cheerful.

Krista lives on the West Coast.

I am not a Coast decorator.

Goodness I live in-land high in the 

Mountain West.

But I like her "blue" color scheme.

I am more of a color person

But

 I love, love blue.

I also like the clean simplicity of

White.

Just a cute home, I think.

And I did get a few ideas to use in my home.

He Is Not Here ~ He Is Risen

A Very Happy Easter to

all of my 

Family

and Friends

 Perhaps one of the most profound words ever written 

in the Holy Scriptures is the 

tender and loving word of the risen Lord 

Jesus Christ

pronouncing her name.

Mary.

He is not dead.

He Lives!

I do Believe in Him

as His

Promise of Life Eternal.

He Is Risen

Easter's On It's Way!

I have said it before and I will say it again. . .

Easter

Is one of my favorite holidays.

I hope my little bit of decorating does not 

distract from the reason for this holiday.

As we celebrate the

Savior's Jesus Christ's Atonement and Resurrection.

Through my decorating I want to share 

Happiness,

Hope

 Faith

And Gratitude for the many blessings

I receive through His Grave and Love.

Jesus Christ can and will do it for everyone. . .

Along with decorating for Easter I add my touch of

bright  colorful to my home.

It is 

SPRING

The earth is awakening. . 

She is displaying her beauties 

From the Blue Sky to the Colorful  Earth.

You can see it everywhere.

Even though it is a very Spiritual and Religious time for me.

I still enjoy the whimsical side of 

Easter

I like to scatter color and sunshine wherever I go. .

A few colored eggs here and some cute little bunnies there.

Easter is on it's way!

I hope you find the colorful and the happy of

this beautiful time of rebirth and renewal. 

Life Is About Change

Well hello my friends.

 I hope you are enjoying a 

delightful day.

The two day

General Conference for

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

ended yesterday. So today I feel a 

little bit of a let-down.

I love General Conference.

It is so uplifting, so spiritual

it is as though

Mind and Spirit join as one, and 

the Heavens open, and

Light, Knowledge, and Truth

are abundantly given to all who will listen

and Believe.

Of course I am still dancing on Cloud 9

with the announcement that a new

Temple will be built in 

Tooele Valley.

What a wonderful blessing.

Prayers have been answered.

We don't know the exact location yet,

but we will know soon.

A new Temple in my precious valley

will bring about change.

And I know the changes will be good.

Wherever a Temple of The Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is built

It blesses everything. . . People are blessed

The land and the communities are

blessed. They will prosper.

Satan will gradually lose his power of

destruction. . . Because hearts will soften 

and turn to God,

 There will

be a stronger feeling to do good, to be less

judgmental. to help others. 

Children will obey righteous parents, and parents

will love their children and place their family 

as a top priority in their life.

My little Valley will 

Change.

And I will change.

Not because I am compelled to

But because I want to.

More Faith

More desire to do good

More attention to what matters most to me,

More devotion to my Savior Jesus Christ.

More Gratitude

More joy for my life.

Many more changes will happen.

Life is about change

Nothing ever stays the same.

Just as I look forward to Spring, 

I look forward to the changes

the Lord has for me.

I cannot imagine my life without

the knowledge I have of

Heavenly Father, 

Jesus Christ and 

the Holy Ghost.

And my knowledge grows day by day

with every tear that I shed

and ever smile I share with loved ones.

This is the weekend that my eyes and my ears

will be upon Salt Lake City, Utah

It is General Conference for

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Prophet Russell M. Nelson 

and his counselors

Dallin H. Oaks and Henry B, Eyring

 The Quorum of Twelve Apostles

Theses are the leaders that will 

Teach

Counsel

Reveal

And Testify of Jesus Christ

By the Gift of the Holy Ghost I will

know that what they say is true.

We are all sons and daughters of a loving

caring Heavenly Father.

No matter where we are, 

no matter what we have done,

He desires ALL His Children to

 Come To Him.

Through His Son Jesus Christ 

All blessings can and will be provided

as we turn our hearts and our minds

to Him we will see miracles in our lives.

Light and Truth will shine brightly

We will have His countenance in our eyes.

Hello April

I am so happy to see

My March was horrible!

I did not do a single post in March.

Sickness, depression, snowstorm after snowstorm!

Made a very miserable month for me.

But I am looking forward to April.

Spring, and Easter always makes me 

feel much better.

I look forward to each new day.

I have been going through past posts

about April Easter and Spring.

I like the crisp white of this vignette.

It reminds me of the newness of

The Resurrection!
