I have pondered my thoughts on 2017 and what I how to be, and become. I don't set goals or resolutions. I just believe in moving forward with faith and hope. So here are just a few of my thoughts as the hours and the days and months go by. I just want to be a better person. I want to show kindness and respect to others and to myself. I hope to have a happy heart most of the time. Now I am only human, so there will be plenty of times I will not be happy. If only we lived in a perfect world, but we don't. So sadness and unhappiness is part of the human experience. I just want to have "most" of my time, spent with happiness, gratitude and finding joy in the little ordinary things of life. Sounds good to me!
I have also pondered the past 12 months and I decided I did do some good. . .hahah! I hope I made a difference. . .a good difference.
On the blog for the last year it seems I have not been very productive. I certainly don't get the posts out like I should. I keep hoping I will get better at it, nonetheless, I am trying. . .so here is hoping you hear from me more often.
I certainly don't do the Creating like I once did. I have a part time job, and that really cuts into my time for crafting, sewing, crocheting and all the other things I like to do. Maybe a little bit of age! Ah no, that can't be.! There just isn't enough time in the day for me to cover all of my bases. I do my bet.
Here are a few of the things I did do. . .and I hope you had a chance to read about it here on the blog.
Blue for the January Aunt Carol Hutch.
She is beautiful no matter what color she is.
A little cross stitching. . I am so glad I got this done last year.
It is part of my decorations for this January.
And February is always a fun month of decorate. I did another
cross stitch for Valentine's. It seems I did several cross stitching projects for
2016. So glad I did!
Here we go for March. Loving my little shelf decked out in green.
Take a look at that gorgeous Sunrise over the Oquirrah Mountains.
Bringing daylight to the Tooele Valley.
Such beauty!
Springtime in our little valley. . .Wow! It just doesn't get much prettier.
I love it.
I am blessed to live where there are beautiful mountains.
Well, I hope you are looking forward to 2017 with great expectations.
Each day brings it own rewards and happiness.
Please come back again, as I continue the journey of creating and enjoy
the life I have been blessed with.
You had a great year, hoping 2017 is your best.
ReplyDelete2016 wasn't a good year for my family. We had many heartaches, and lots of worry and anxiety. I won't go into all the things, but I'm hopeful that 2017 will be better. I'll turn 65 in March, and lots of time, I feel it! I don't do many projects now, but am working on making a Christmas quilt. I put it away for a few days, but will get it out again, and hopefully get some organizing done in my basement decorating bins. I so need to purge! I hope you have a wonderful year.
