A Christmas Doily For The Hutch

Hello, Hello!
I hope you are enjoying this wonderful time of year.
I have just a little something to show you today.
My Christmas Doily
I made it especially for my "Aunt Carol" Hutch.
I used size 10 thread.
A simple little Granny Square
And a lacy boarder.
I really like how it turned out.
I am an "old fashioned" Gal. .
I like to have doilies and table runners.
I have many, many doilies I have crocheted and a lot
That have been given to me.
I come from a long line of crocheters.
I find it very relaxing to work with delicate thread.
To create something so delicate and intricate as a doily
Gives me joy.
Of course for Christmas I wanted red and green.
The green I use is a brighter green.  It goes well with the
Arrangement I have in the sewing drawer.

Please come back.  I like to know you have visited me.

  1. HI Karie! Oh, this Christmas doily is perfect for Christmas! I crochet so I know how much work and how long it takes to make something like this! It looks lovely gracing your Aunt Carol hutch.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia :)
