It Is A Beautiful Time of The Year
Oh how I love this time of year, My very favorite. The weather has cooled down to where it is bearable. The days are getting shorter. I don't mine the shorter days. I love the evenings when Ican sit outside and enjoy cool the evening on my patio. I like to watch the sun set and the early evening sky.
As Iam writing this it is the end of the day. It has been the Sabbath Day. Oh my heart how I love the Sabbath. And it is past my bed time. But I wanted to finish my day by letting you know how good God is. Though the world is in chaos. Troubles at every turn of this earthly spear called Earth. Darkness may be looming in our own corner of life, but that familiar thought comes to mind...... Fear Not I am With Thee...... And be not dismayed....for I am with thee and I will lead thy way.
He is Lord and Master.....God of this Earth and More. He commands the elements and they obey, He created the Universe and placed the stars and moons in their specific orbit. Why should we fear, He knows beginning to end and all that is in between. He knows the times and the seasons. He created them. But the greatest of all that He watches over is You and I. We need not FEAR.....Be still and know He is GOD.

I Will Be Back
I have to say, I was going to give up on my blog. I really thought my blogging days were over. BUT.... how can I leave? I just can't do it.
I created this blog lover 12 years ago. I loved blogging. Until the blogging world changed. It is so different from when I started. It was a Friendship!
I made some great friends, I will never see them in this life, but I am here to say some day in the Great Eternal Home, I will find my blogging friends.
So.... my little blog is coming back. I don't care if my blogging style is outdated... I like vintage and antique things. I don't care that my style of decorating is not the current and new trends. Guess what? I decorate little Apt 157 how I like. It is my home, my style and I love it. I don't make a dime from my blog. I have no affiliates. I blog just for the pure joy of blogging. I hope along the way I share kindness, thankfulness, and a little light in a sometimes dark world.
I hope you will join me as I get back on the path of blogging....Thursday, May 27, 2021

Home Is Part of Our Story
Well Hello!
It is a cold snowy evening here in my little part of the world. And guess what I love it love it. My little fur babies are snuggled on my lap watching t.v while I work on this post and I take a peek of what's going on.
I like being home.... Actually I love being home! It has not been hard at all for me to be home for the last year because of the pandemic. Of a matter of fact, I stay inside more than I should. When good weather comes I will go out more. I do love visiting with neighbors when I am out for a walk.
As a child growing up I was a child that didn't stray too far from home. I lived with my grandmother, "Grandma Dot." She is my maternal Grandmother. She was wonderful. Just the sweetest person you would ever meet. She loved me..... I knew she did. She was a kind gentle soul. And a Cute sweet personality.
When I was 7 years old my Mom, Grandma Dot's daughter died in an automobile accident. Me and my little brother went to live with Grandma. We were loved, well taken care of and surrounded with people who were good, honest and hard workers. Who taught us high values, and helped us develop into who we are today.
Maybe it is because of this little house that was my home that I never wanted to wander too far. And my desire was to create a home for my family like the one I came from.
A Home Is Part Of Our Story.
